This is a BIG flashback. It's important - after all, I am showing the relationship between Drake and his father. That takes a little time to establish in a believable and emotional way. And I gotta say, I really like how these black and white scenes look. Though I do sometimes miss color...
Sigh... A little hint of social commentary... Don't anybody freak out now...
As an aside, this whole flashback is quite emotional for me. I'm praying that I do well, so you feel it as much as I felt during its conception.
