We all just love Sly x Carmelita, right??? 
Pages like this are where I can experiment - with lighting, with colored bubbles, etc. I try things out after things get mentioned. Such as the bubble trouble that some of you guys say it's hard to tell who's saying what. So...I tried this. Also, black outlines kind of disappear in the dark background...
And, surprise! Oscar the Grouch again! Here's the inspiration: I don't watch the Tonight Show every night, but sometimes I tune in. And one recent night he had Sesame Street characters on! I laughed a lot, especially with Oscar. So it made me want to throw him in...
Jimmy: "Oscar, are you happy to be here?"

*Edit* So...there's few things more depressing than realizing you've failed in conveying the right message in your story. Which I have done on this page.
So, I fixed a line here and I'm going to explain some things now: Carmelita is going to bed. It's like four in the morning so... And it's not like she's immediately joining the Cooper gang. She's a guest at Venom's house with Ned, and they're both still cops (though on leave). And she's not exactly sure what Sly is doing there. And Sly is going back to the hideout. Okay?
Sigh...sometimes I utterly fail...

Inspector Fox can’t arrest him but she can’t live without him. And Sly can’t escape Carmelita but can’t live without her. It’s that instinct where if one can’t exist where would the fun be. Same thing with Joker and Batman, the two are destined to fight each other but can’t live without them.
