Here we are! Back to the lovely "film noire" style for flashbacks! I've been working extremely hard on this part of the story - it's one of the most important parts - and I pray that I've done it well. Let's find out, shall we?

Oh, and here's my "chronological" thinking for this story and the Cooper-verse. The first game begins ten years after Sly's parents were killed when he was eight. That makes him eighteen. Then two years later for Sly 2. One year after that was Sly 3. I figure the fourth game started two or three years after that. And this story starts two or three years after "being lost in time" was solved.

That leaves Sly at about twenty-six or so. And Drake's around the same age. (He's ten here). So, "about twenty years ago" is just about the time of Sly Cooper's beginning. And it sounds better than "approximately eighteen years".

Now you know. Hopefully, that clears any confusion for my story in regards to "time".
